One Crazy Week

This has been one crazy week. Starting off, I was in bed sick but my sister Martha cared for me. Things weren't looking too bright for me and most everyone knew I didn't have much more time left. My sisters tried to get Jesus, my friend who has great healing powers, to help but he came too late. Just like everyone one predicted, I died in my sleep. However, Jesus heard of my passing and was very sad to hear of the news. So he and some of his friends came to see my sisters Martha and Mary. After four days of being in my tomb, Jesus reserrected me. He is the light, and I owe everyday I live to him.

  1. I'm so glad you're alive, Lazarus! Martha and I were so depressed when we found you lifeless in your bed... We didn't eat for days! We made Jesus feel pretty guilty for letting you leave us, but I guess it's better he came late than never, right? I'm so happy you're here, Laz.

  2. When I found out that you were very, very ill, I wept. When I was ready, I told my friends, "Let's go back to Judea." They said, "Rabbi, you can't do that. The Jews are out to kill you, and you're going back?" I insisted because you are my dear friend.

  3. I couldn't agree more with Mary! I know we are so happy to have you back with us. Jesus really performed a miraculous thing. Expect a big batch of your favorite food soon, you know how I love to cook!

  4. You are one lucky person Lazarus of Bethany. If you hadn't have been related to Mary and Martha you might not have been given a second chance by God and Jesus. What was is like being dead?

  5. Brother! I am over-joyed that you are alive and with us again. Caring for you while you were sick, watching you suffer, and losing you, was the hard thing Mary and I have ever experienced. I thank Jesus everyday for the miracle He has blessed our family with.

  6. Beloved Brother!
I am overjoyed, that you are alive. When you died I did not know what to do with myself. I was miserable, but I knew that the Lord would help us. I did not know that he was going to raise you from the dead. It was remarkable. Words cannot even describe what I was feeling when you walked out the tomb.
    I love you so much!!!!!!!!!
